Introduction

Heyy im Laini Norellya bte Md Noordin 1051103699. Im currently in Delta Year now. I'll be doing my final project for this semester. My Installation title is 'The Beauty of Nyonya Kebaya'. This project is actually to show the beauty of the embroidery and the meanings of the motif that usually be used by them. At the same time, it give the viewers a bit of the the background and insight into the culture that produced among others, the Nyonya Kebaya. And this is by exploring the Malaysia's rich cultural heritages.

The installation:

- There will be a booth for the installation. As the user came in, they will stand on the step and automatically the kebaya will appear on the screen. The kebaya will randomly shown on the screen provided. As the user move the shadow will trigger the movement and there will be elements on the kebaya for example like the flower will move rotate, butterfly will fly within the costume itself and will be back on the actual possition. Some of it only have sounds like guitar, dragon, background like Japanese theme - will have instrumental music for that and any kind of other example except for flowers. But for every costume will have maximum 3 items move + sounds. And as the user step out from the step, the screen will automatically change to the main screen design. The user's can go to the info kiosk beside it to read about the history and meanings behind all the design that been showed on the screen just now. That is all about my installation will be. :)

There will be the same idea and there's no changes for the moment.
